CLARENCE JOSEPH ‘FRENCHY’ LEVESQUE
Clarence Joseph “Frenchy” Levesque, 76, of Drummonds died Oct. 23, 2012. He was born on Aug. 23, 1936 in Madawaska, Maine. He joined the Marine Corp. and lived his life as “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” His last location in military service was in Millington, where he met the love of his life, Mary Cathryn Scott. He owned and operated Frenchy’s Barber Shop in Millington for more than 50 years and also owned a cattle farm in Drummonds. He was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed big game hunting, farming, dancing and his family. He is survived by his wife Mary S. Levesque, son Allan Levesque, daugther Yvonne (Buck) McAlpin, daughter Lisa (Kenny) McCain and son John (Jill) Levesque. He also is survived by grandchildren Faron Marie Levesque, Brad (Lindsay) McAlpin, Jeremie (Amanda) McAlpin, Jonathan (Amber) McCain, Andrew (Heather) McCain, Lauren Levesque and Claire Levesque. Frenchy also leaves three great grandchildren — Kaitlyn, Colt and Will. He also leaves siblings Alban Levesque (Madawaska) and Diane Levesque (Hartford, Conn.), Nile Levesque (Madawaska) and Diane Levesque (Hartford). Appreciation is given for his care workers Lona McAllister, Lisa Davenport and Joy Teal. Visitation will be Thursday Oct. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. And the funeral will be Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. both will be at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel in Millington. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the charity of your choice.
