The Oracle earns gold

The student staff of Millington Central High School’s literary magazine, The Oracle,

won the prestigious Gold Medal award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

This national program is associated with the Graduate School of Journalism at

Columbia University and evaluates countless literary magazines and other school publications from around the country.

The Gold Medal is a credit to the superior efforts of these talented and creative members of the magazine’s editorial and artistic staff.

Producers of The Oracle are: Kayla Martin, Breanna Copeland and Courtney Reed, editors;

Sara Barrera, Andrea Hardaway, Taylor Paladino, Eric Philipps and Emily Stewart, staff; and Dr. Julie Forbess, advisor.
