While the Millington Lady Trojans were on cruise control Tuesday night in the Cordova Gymnasium, Millington Trojan Head Coach Rob Sabau has a frustrating evening with his team only scoring 11 points in the first half. Despite calls against them, 15 turnovers and missing several shots, the Trojans only trailed to the Cordova Wolves 26-11 at the break.

Millington’s defense gave them a chance to comeback and pull off the victory making the score 45-42 in the fourth quarter after a Kelby Hollowell layup. But the Wolves held on to win 49-43.

Prior to the boys’ game, the Lady Trojans remained perfect in District 14-3A play beating the Lady Wolves 67-39. Millington was sparked by UT-Martin signee Tiara Caldwell’s 22 points.
