The Millington Lady Trojans will be in Tuesday night’s District 14-3A Girls Basketball Tournament championship game. But it didn’t come easy.

Despite a 14-point lead with less than 2 minutes to go against the Bolton Lady Wildcats in the semifinal contest, the Lady Trojans had to use two late Erin Clark foul shots to hold on for a 60-57 victory.

The win reserved a spot for the Lady Trojans in the title game against the Arlington Lady Tigers, winners over Craigmont. And both Arlington and Millington will host Region 7-3A game this upcoming Friday against either Jackson North Side or Hardin County from District 13-3A.

The Lady Trojans used 17-points from standout Tiara Caldwell to beat Bolton. Her teammates Clark and Seymon Taylor contributed double-figure efforts in the win.
