Van Emelen heading to Huntingdon College for soccer

Millington Central High School senior Brendon Van Emelen was joined by his family and faculty this morning for his signing ceremony to play soccer at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala. Van Emelen will join the Hawks, members ofo the Great South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III. Van Emelen has been a vital part of the Millington Trojan Soccer team the last two seasons as a scoring threat and midfielder. This year Van Emelen is expected to be a leader on and off the field for the Trojans.

Living all over the world, Van Emelen said his moved to Millington at the end of his sophomore year was one of the best things that has happen in his life and helped him reach his goal of signing to play college soccer.
