Munford senior Michael Pugh will be taking his offensive lineman skills to Northwest Mississippi.

The latest Munford Cougar Football standout to sign a college scholarship is Michael Pugh. The 6’5, 265-pound senior will be heading to Northwest Mississippi. Today Pugh was joined by his parents Rebecca and Gwyn Pugh, offensive line coach Aaron Marshall and school administrators Courtney Fee and Michael Huffman for his signing ceremony in the Munford Library.

Pugh had guided the Cougars to two straight playoff appearances as the anchor of the offensive line form his tackle spot. Marshall noted Pugh has great foot work that will assist him on the next level.

And while at Munford, Pugh became the leaders of the line helping call plays and putting younger teammates in the right position.
