People who work in the central offices of the Memphis & Shelby County school districts were told Tuesday they will have to reapply for their jobs. This leaves 260 employees’ futures up in the air. The first round of hires will be for executive directors and directors, and those jobs will be posted by mid-April. The rest of the positions will be posted by mid-May.

The United States Secret Service is investigating after someone set up a credit card skimmer at Millington gas station’s pump. The machine may have gotten several people’s personal information. The device is called a credit card skimmer and it steals bank account information. One protective measure for people is to run cards as credit rather than debit.
