Clark signs with Greyhound Basketball

By Thomas Sellers Jr.

Millington Central High School senior Erin Clark signed a letter of intent yesterday in the MCHS Cafeteria to play basketball for Mid-South Community College in West Memphis Arkansas. Clark will join the Greyhound program of Head Coach Kim Turner. The last four years Turner has started and been building her junior college program by recruiting talent across the river. Turner said what made Clark a must-have player was her versatility as a guard. In four years with the Millington Lady Trojans under coaches Stan Gatlin and Bruce Marshall, Clark played point guard and shooting guard.

A leader on and off the court, Clark ran the offense being a coach on the floor. This past season she help guide Millington to the District 14-3A regular-season and tournament titles.
