Star Staff Reports
Playhouse 51, Millington’s Community Theatre proudly presents Bedside Manners by Derek Benfield on June 7, 8, 9, 14 & 15 at the Harvell Civic Center. The show tells the tale of Ferris, played by Michael Moore, who reluctantly agrees to look after his sister’s seedy country inn while she is away on vacation. Little did he imagine the wild comings and goings involving her affairs! Over the course of his stay, Ferris becomes engulfed in lies, confusions, and bewilderments as he tries to prevent the inevitable meetings of husbands, wives and lovers in assorted compromising situations. This hilarious and fast moving farce is better suited for adult audiences.
Playhouse 51 is thrilled to have Paul Webb directing again this
season. Paul made his Playhouse 51 directorial debut last season with A Tuna Christmas. In this production you will see some familiar faces to the
Playhouse 51 stage like Gwen Belcher in the role of Helen and Chris Carter as Geoff well as new comers to Playhouse 51 Michael Guetschow as Roger, Michael Moore playing Ferris, Kristen Vandervort playing the role of Sally.
