Millington Central High School had its first Oscar Night on April 27.
It was a night dedicated to honoring seniors from the Class of 2013 in different areas.
The event was a chance to hold voting for Oscar Awards such as “Most Likely to be MCHS Principal,”  “Most Attractive,” “Cutest Couple,” “Most Inspirational,” and others.  There were also Teacher Awards that were presented throughout the evening.  Also honored groups such as the Superlatives, 30+ ACT club, Athletes who have signed with a college, and Hall of Fame members.
Throughout the evening we had entertainment such as the show choir led by Jeff Murdock.
There was a male beauty pageant and also shown was a video of a Teacher Lip Dub to the song  “Bye , Bye, Bye” by N’Sync which was our message to seniors.
The students had a great time and the school hopes to make this an annual event.
