The Millington Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding the Professional Women’s Luncheon, a for women only event, titled sponsored by Lalania and Cary Vaughn on Sept. 26 at NSA, Mid-South’s Pat Thompson Conference Center. The luncheon, from 11:30 a.m. To 1 p.m., is a celebration of the woman in the workplace. With no formal program planned, the purpose of the ladies lunch is to fellowship with the women in the community while being served a light meal including soup, salad and dessert served by surprise guest waiters, enjoying a fashion show including fashions by Goodies Department Store, and winning many of the door prizes donated by local Millington Area Chamber of Commerce members. Beginning July 8 through Sept. 30, the NSA Mid-South commissary will close on Monday and Tuesday. We know that any disruption in commissary operations will impact the NSA Mid-South community.
