After several challenging weeks, Ahmaad Galloway is stepping aside as Munford High’s head football coach to concentrate on the academic aspect of his career.
Bernard Ivie, assistant football coach and head track coach, has been named interim head coach to finish out the season. Ivie, with 41 total years of coaching experience, says his number one goal at this point is to teach his players to be great young men.
“The next several weeks will be challenging, but our goals include teaching these young men to step to the line, to meet the challenges, and to compete with the three teams we have left on our schedule.”
Munford High’s record is currently 1-6. The three remaining opponents include Collierville on Oct. 18, Bartlett, and Hardin County to close out the regular season, all home games.
Game times are at 7 p.m.
