The Bolton Full Gospel Church
The church was founded in the mid-1950s in the community of Bolton. In 1956, services were being held in a one-room schoolhouse on Brunswick Road. A dream of the early founders, Brother John Edgar Jolly being one, was to build a church. They prayed and a 10-acre lot on the corner of Pleasant Ridge and Ricks Roads became available for purchase. It was set in motion, and the dream became a reality when the “old” sanctuary was completed and dedicated Oct. 20, 1963. We have held our homecomings the first Sunday of October ever since. This Oct. 6 will be the 50th year BFG Church has been on this corner: A great asset to this community; a beautiful place of worship. Give all the glory to Jesus.
If you know of anyone who would like to come, give them a call. Or, give us their address or phone number and the church will give them a personal invitation. The church needs your help in making this a great celebration. For more information, visit the website www.boltonfullgospelchurch.org; e-mail: email@example.com; or call 872-2744 or Bettye Perkins 302-0118.
