Mega Yard Sale this Saturday to benefit Munford’s Taylor Scott

Star Staff ReportsSAMSUNG

]There will be a multi- family yard sale this Saturday at 325 Munford Gilt Edge with furniture, clothes of all sizes, dryer, chairs, TVs, edgers, bookcases, dressers, holiday decorations, bookcases, comforter sets, toys, anything you can imagine.
The purpose for this big yard sale is to raise money to remodel a bathroom for local teenager Taylor Scott because she is having a hard time fitting since its a tub.
Scott is suffering from Scheuermann’s kyphosis and scoliosis. Her spine was curved at a 75 degree angle and required a spinal fusion surgery that she had in April. She is in need of a walk in shower.
“We are also in the process of buying a blazer SUV from a dear neighbor because our small HHR does not hold all of Taylor’s equipment,” a member of Scott’s foundation said. “We still owe $1,100 before we can bring it home. I can’t afford a car note any longer since I’m not able to work so buying a car from owner made the most sense. We also have plenty of team Taylor bracelets to sell for $3. Let me know if interested in one or if your place of work will let us set up donation jars.”
The public can donate any items for yard sale.
“Please contact me at 827-5512. I will gladly pick up anything. Taylor also has a go fund me account where you can make a tax deductible donation with receipt for all you business owners or whoever it can help. She also has an account set up at F.A.A.”
The account is at the Federal credit union under the name Taylor Scott saving fund which is also tax deductible. Its on Germantown Pkwy. right in front of Costco. Or you can send any donation to Taylor Scott. P.O. box 132 Ellendale, TN 38029.
“Any amount, even $1 will help. If you can’t help, we understand and also appreciate many prayers. She is making great progress.
“And it’s so hard not having the means to buy her everything she needs. This is something you most definitely think will never happen to you. I love you all, thank you for reading our story, sending her words of encouragement and being here for me as well. Thank you so much.”
