Munford senior softball standout Jodie Duncan inked her national letter of intent on National Signing Day this morning at Munford High School to play softball at The University of Tennessee at Martin. Duncan has shined with her bat in two and half seasons with the Munford Lady Cougars helping Head Coach Glenn Goulder and crew reach State the last three seasons.
Duncan suffered a hand injury last season but was there in the dugout and on the field supporting her teammates’ run to another Sub-State title and win in the opening round of the Class 3A State Tournament. Duncan was joined by teammates, coaches and her family mother Ally, father Jeff and older brother Drew for her signing. Jodie is the third Lady Cougar to sign with a Division I school in the program’s history joining Cali Overbeck (Ole Miss) and Sami Jo Schulz (Memphis).
