Calendar of Events November 21

The Lucy Garden Club recently donated a check to the Millington Crisis Center. With the holiday season here, organizations like the Lucy Garden Club are assisting the Crisis Center in its efforts to help the needy. This year the St. William Youth Group is cooking Thanksgiving dinner for everyone who could benefit from having a cooked dinner brought to them at their  home. Other groups are doing dinners, this is for those who are stuck at home. Call the Millington Crisis Center at 872-4357 to sign up, deadline Tuesday Nov. 26.  The Crisis center also has a great need for laundry soap & personal care items and gas money grants (for those looking for work). The Center is adopting a new motto at the center: BE THE CHANGE FOR GOD
