Pokerface Events and New Stars Wrestling (NSW) Owner Quenton “Pokerface” Williams has announced the date and location of the inaugural NSW event, set for this spring.
“I am pleased to announce Millington’s USA Stadium will be the site of NSW’s first event on March 22,” Williams said. “I am honored to be presenting the first-ever professional wrestling event in the history of the facility.”
Memphis-based Pokerface Events and NSW will present a night of entertainment featuring professional wrestlers from across the Mid-South, as well as activities for children and the entire family. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
“I believe in giving back to the community,” Williams noted. “With Millington’s history as a military town, it seems fitting to support our American heroes through a worthy cause like the Wounded Warrior Project.”
Sponsorships are still available for the event. Ticket prices start at $5. There is free general admission for all active and retired military with proper ID. The fun starts at 3 p.m. with magician, face painting, music, and concessions. The wrestling starts at 5 p.m. This event will take place rain or shine, with the exception of severe inclement weather. Williams anticipates holding events at USA Stadium on an annual or semi-annual basis in the future.
Quenton “Pokerface” Williams is the owner.
