The isles were packed at 8235 Highway 51 North in Millington this morning at 9 a.m.
The reason for the buzz was the grand opening for Dirt Cheap. Before doors were unlocked officially to the public, dozens of shoppers were lined up with shopping baskets in hand.
After the Millington Chamber of Commerce and Millington Mayor Terry Jones welcomed the retail chain and the ribbon was cut by Dirt Cheap Store Manager Andrew Stubben it was time for customers to grace the establishment.
With more than 60 employees, Dirt Cheap features items ranging from household items to food to clothes to entertainment devices.
Dirt Cheap is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and is always closed on Sundays.
