Stewart has a big night

The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels improved to 3-0 on the season after a 37-22 victory over the Fayette Academy Vikings.
The Rebels jumped out to a 21-0 lead Friday night in the first quarter in front of the home fans.
TRA’s first score came after a 6 minute and 31 second drive and Logan Stewart’s 1-yard TD run.
Stewart found the end zone once again, this time gathering a 20-yard pass from TRA quarterback AJ Hightower to make the score 14-0.
To make it 21-0, Stewart found a third way to cross the goal line. The senior athlete picked off a Dylan Robbins pass and took it back for a touchdown.
TRA was ahead 21-8 after one quarter. The Rebels led 28-8 at halftime after Hightower connected with Stewart once again for a 24-yard TD pass.
The Rebels got a safety in the third quarter to make the score 30-8. And Despite Fayette outscoring TRA 14-7 in the fourth quarter, the Rebels had victory in the bag. Shane O’Brien made the tally 37-8 early in the period with a 5-yard run.
The Rebels will be back in action this Friday traveling to FACS for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
