Non-Surgical Facelift

Alright ladies, we all want to be the “hottest chick on the scene” when it comes to beauty, then there’s all that other competition out there vying for male attention same as you… you need to be on your “A-game” at all times! This article is about the most attractive part of a woman’s beauty: Your skin! Your face to be exact. It’s the first thing people see, and one of the most recognizable parts of your bod! Scientists have proven that your cells possess the ability to replicate themselves, thus, the occurrence of what’s known as the “aging process”. Similar to the inferiority of a photocopied photo, your cells also reproduce an inferior version of themselves. This is Unnoticeable at first, but eventually you’ll appear aged….and this is why! Naturally we want to reverse these effects, so we opt for the usual: Botox, Restylane, and even full-on surgery. Well, there’s a large percentage of the population that’s either afraid of going under the knife or being anesthetized or can’t count backwards from 100 or is simply unwilling to… and not to mention all the rest of that jazz that goes along with surgery! There is a non-surgical/non-invasive method to lift the facial muscles… facial exercise. That’s right a series of resistance exercises for your face! It’s very easy, economic, and it actually feels good.
The Warm-up
Step 1) The first step to any exercise, workout, etc. is to sit with your back as straight as possible.
Step 2) Slowly roll your neck in a full 360 degree angle. Beginning at the center of your breastbone, roll clockwise twice, pause for a count of ten, and then roll your neck counterclockwise. Perform one rep.
Step 3) Reach over your head and place your right hand on your left temple and slowly, gently pull the top of your head toward your right shoulder as far as you can (comfortably) while pulling your shoulder down creating a perfect extension. Repeat for the other side.
Step 4) Using your hands in “Praying Hands” form, under the beginning of your chin, slowly push your head straight back towards your spine. Hold for 30-60 seconds.
Step 5) Clasp your hands behind your head and slowly pull your head towards your breastbone, and hold for 30-60 seconds.
The Workout
The neck
Step 1) Place each hand on the opposite side of your neck (left hand, right side of neck; right hand on left side of neck) and look up towards the ceiling.
Step 2) Using your facial muscles, pull your chin upwards. Hold for 10-20 seconds.
Step 3) While in the same form, slowly lean your head to the left, and hold for 20 seconds. Then lean your head to the right also holding for 20 seconds.
The Chin
Step 1) Elongate your neck, then put all five fingers together on each hand and place the second joint of your index fingers at alternate sides of the point of your chin.
Step 2) Press firmly and slowly trace your jawline, while slowly moving down the length of your neck. Repeat 10 times.
Step 3) Go back to the starting point, place the second joint of your index fingers beneath your bottom lip. Purse your lips, press firmly and slowly smooth outward and upwards in the shape of a smile stopping at the bottom of your cheekbones. Also repeat 10 times.
The Lips
In toning the area around the lips there is only three minor techniques you need in order to attain the desired results: 1) Purse the lips, 2) start at one outer corner and slowly smooth towards the other in a wiping motion, repeat for the bottom lip, and 3) cup your hands around your mouth as you were going to call out to someone and firmly smooth outward towards the cheekbones. Do this 10 times.
Natural Nose Contouring
Step 1) Place your index fingers near your tear ducts along each side of the bridge of your nose.
Step 2) Slowly drag your fingers down towards your top lip. Do five reps.
Step 3) Start at the “dent” (for lack of a better word) between your forehead and the top of the bridge of your nose. Turn your finger sideways and run your finger along the length of your nose ten times.
Defining the Cheekbones
Step 1) First tense the rest of the muscles in your face, then, using the pads of two of your fingers start at the bridge of your nose and trace the apples of your cheeks in a “half-moon” shape, repeating 10 times.
Step 2) With facial muscles still tensed, place the pad of your index fingers at the inner corner of each eye. Press firmly, and slowly follow the natural curve of the lower eye socket along the top of your cheekbone. Do 10 reps.
The Eyes
As I’m sure you already know, the eyes are the most delicate part of your face… so we must act like it. Step 1) Place the tip of your index finger near the inner corner of your eye and trace gently, without pressure along your lower lash line stopping at the outer corner. Do 10 reps.
Step 2) Again starting at the inner corner of your eyes, pressing firmly, trace the natural shape of your brow bone. Repeat 10 times.
Please note that the effects of a “natural facelift” will not occur instantaneously, but your face neck, etc. will feel a lot better instantly! The expected results will become visible in a matter of days, all without paying out the nose, nor having to go under the knife!
