“Ms. Shanna D. Cook, 42, of Millington, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. She was born on Oct. 9, 1971 in the city of Orange, Calif., the daughter of Tommy and Phyllis (Welshans) Schieffer. Shanna’s first priority was always her children; they were truly the light of her life. She also enjoyed working on crafts, and she was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. One of her favorite pasttimes was riding her motorcycle. Shanna always loved to volunteer in her children’s classrooms and enjoyed being a room mother. She also volunteered as a team mom for each of their sports teams. Shanna was a wonderful, loving mother and daughter and will be remembered lovingly. Shanna is survived by her three children: Jaxon Cook (16), Aaron Madrid (7), and Grisela Madrid (8), her parents; Tommy Schieffer and wife Janelle, her fiancee, Steve Irwin,  one brother, Luke Schieffer all of Millington, one sister, Amanda Forrest of Paris, and her grandfather, Hayden Jones of Shenandoah, Iowa, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis (Welshans) Schieffer, Uncle DeWayne Welshans, and her grandparents. Services for Shanna will be held at the First United Methodist Church on 8029 Wilkinsville Road in Millington, TN on Oct. 18. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary followed by an open house in the Flame Center until 4 p.m.”

You are invited to a Celebration of Life for Donald J. Rewalt on Oct. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Beaver Baptist Church located at 9344 Holly Grove Road in Brighton. The church is located in Tipton County at Holly Grove and Candy Lane on the way to Rose of Sharon Campgrounds/Christmas lights. Reception will follow in the Family Life Center.     Shanna D. Cook was a selfish woman who died after choosing to drive drunk. She killed an innocent father and his baby boy because of her selfishness! Her number one priority was NOT her kids. It was herself!
