Waves begin every 10 minutes – kids teams, then adult teams. Teams can run, jog or walk as recreation and competitive levels are offered.
“The Great Amazing Race is labeled the place ”where smiles and teamwork rule the day” because our challenges evoke lots of smiles and focus on teamwork vs individuality. Teammates must work together closely in order to complete each challenge,” said Greg Benton, founder of the Great Amazing Race. “The challenges are lots of fun and contestants should be prepared to get a little wet and dirty.”
The Great Amazing Race hosts races in many of the NFL, NBA and MLB cities around the country. The race is partnered with the Max Cure Foundation, which has raised over $2 million dollars to fight against pediatric cancer. Teams that donate 2 pairs of used sneakers or running shoes will receive free mulligan/time-saver tokens for the race.
Registration is only $40 per team and is limited to 120 teams. Teams consist of two people – adult/adult, adult/kid or kid/kid. Special pricing is available for teachers, military, law enforcement & fire departments.
