VENITA ELIZABETH MILLER BRINKLEY
Venita Elizabeth Miller Brinkley (formerly Caillouet), 91, of Millington, died on Oct. 10, 2014 surrounded by family following a long illness.  She was the loving mother of Richard Wayne “Dick” Caillouet of Atlanta, Mrs. Patricia Lynn (Charles) Saleeby of Millington, Denise Marie Caillouet of Memphis, and stepdaughter, JoAnn(Glenn) Gupton of Brighton. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a successful business and civic leader, with numerous awards including Woman of the Year honors. She was a devoted Christian and lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Millington. Services was held Oct. 14 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with family receiving friends an hour prior. Donations in lieu of flowers should be made to the American Cancer Society or Charity of choice. Forest Hill East Funeral Home 382-1000.

OLIVIA BUCHANAN HUBER
Baby Olivia Buchanan Huber, surrounded by love, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 6, 2014, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. A Celebration of Life was held in her honor on Oct. 9. The celebration was held at Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road, in Collierville. The Huber family will receive friends after the celebration at the Church reception hall. Olivia is survived by her parents, Jessica and Robert Huber of Collierville; maternal grandparents Jana and Thomas Cleves of Collierville; paternal grandparents Robin and Rorbert Huber of Millington; maternal great-grandparents, Gertrude and Edgar Cleves of Bellevue, Kentucky; Paternal Great-Grandparents, Helen Dye and Robert G. Huber both of Millington;  four aunts, Sarah (Brett) Hutcherson of Collierville, Amanda Cleves of Chicago, Mallory Huber of Memphis, and Katey Huber of Millington; two cousins, Henry and Thomas Hutcherson of Collierville. JANICE LaCOMBE
Janice LaCombe, 78, of Millington, passed away Sept. 3, 2014. She was born in Pueblo, Colo., on Sept. 8, 1935 to Nicholas A. Median and delores E. Hoagland Medina. She was preceded in death by her husband William L. LaCombe. She leaves a sister, Ardith Cortez and a brother, Bill (Marquerite) Hoagland. Two sons, Terry (Mary) and Mike, and two daughters, Barbara (Ricky) Parham, and Patty (Kenneth) Gavrock. Four grandchildren, Sarah Dee (Brian) Hall, David Gavrock, Alicia (Casey) Miller and Nicholas LaCombe. One great granddaughter, Alyssa Hall. Janice was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend who never forgot a birthday or holiday card. She was a devout Catholic who was active at St. William’s parish in Millington for more than 40 years. She was an active member in the Millington TOPS Chapter holding many different leadership positions. She also participated in the Millington Al Anon and Millington Senior Citizen’s Group. Janice had a love for all animals and welcomed many stray cats and dogs. She was laid to rest at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington on Sept. 8, 2014.

JAMES N. LANHAM
James N. Lanham, 71, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sept. 9, 2014.  He was born April 27, 1943 in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 10 years ago from St. Petersburg, Fla., Jim retired after 22 years of service from the U.S. Navy and after retiring he was employed by the State of Florida as an Investigator.  Jim enjoyed boating and fishing. Survivors include his wife Ann; father, Patrick Joseph McIntyre Jr., of Millington; daughters, Karen Kristina Hutson of Tupelo, Miss.; sons, James Vernon Lanham of Tupelo; Thomas Dewey Lanham of Tupelo; sisters, Maureen Kay of Memphis; Francine Bowhay of Howell, Ark.; Harriett Cooper of Atoka; brothers, Lawrence McIntyre, of Apopka, Fla.; Martin McIntyre of Belton, Texas; step daughters, Laura King of Reston, Va.; Rebecca Harvey of Brownsville, Pa.; step son, Kevin O’Shea of Moon Township, Pa.; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and six step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Norman C. McIntyre, brother Patrick John McIntyre and sister Corrine McIntyre. Memorial services will be Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, Tenn.
