Danny Floyd, 63, of Millington, passed away Oct. 12, 2014. He was the owner of Floyd Tree Service. He enjoyed raising goats, drinking coffee, gossiping, junking, and flirting, but above all he was a father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughters, Shianna Wallace of Drummonds, Heather Parker of Camden, Ark., and DD Senkbeil of Shelby Forest; son, Brandon Floyd of Munford; six sisters; three brothers; four grandchildren. A service was held Oct. 17 at 11 at the Millington Chapel w with interment at Shelby Forest Baptist Church Cemetery. Rose Mary Kjenner, 67, of Burlison, passed away on Oct. 23. Funeral services was held Oct. 29 at the First United Pentecostal Church of Covington with interment  in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. Ms. Kjenner was a sales associate with Walmart at both the Covington and Millington stores. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kjenner; one son, Steve Lee Kjenner of Janesville, Wis.; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Kjenner Graham of Rockford, Ill. and Deborah Kay Kjenner of Byron, Ill.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister and one brother. Thomas Corbin Richardson, 31, of Memphis,  passed away Oct. 13, 2014. LaRue Moncier, 91, died Oct. 23, 2014 at Millington Healthcare. Mrs. Moncier enjoyed shopping, traveling, gardening, and especially spending time with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Millington, as well as a 50 year plus member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Landsee of Millington; Betty (Joe) Dolan of Louin, Miss.; and Donna (Joey) Sledd of Michie; grandchildren, Mendy Brooks of Millington; Tricia (Robert) Davis of Ramer; Jody (Heather) Dolan of Louin, Miss.; Tim (Michelle) Moncier of Memphis; Johnny (Charann) Moncier of Millington, Christy (R.C.) Leitaker of Louin, Miss.; and Devon Sledd, Michie; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Smith of Rock Hill, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Harriet Nanney; and a special niece, Wanda Freshour of Lepanto, Ark.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Donald Moncier; a son, Donald Ray Moncier; her parents, R.D. and Mary Elizabeth Haynes Nanney; son-in-law, Daryl Davidson; grandson-in-law, Keith Brooks; and brothers, Donald “Buddy” Nanney and J.C. “Tiny” Nanney. Funeral Services was held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Oct. 26 with interment at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Katherine Chrisman, age 92 of Millington, Tennessee formerly of Hazel, Kentucky, died Oct. 28, 2014 at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis Tennessee. She was a member of Mason’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School until she was in her 80’s, and also participated in the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Chrisman was a homemaker with a passion for reading, an avid gardener and someone who enjoyed walking. She was born Nov. 11, 1921 in Hazel, Kentucky to the late John and Dovie Underwood. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Reuben Chrisman; one sister, Eva Craig; two infant sisters, Clara Underwood and Opal Underwood; four brothers, Elgin Underwood, James Underwood, John B. Underwood, and Brooks Underwood. She is survived by one daughter, Bonita Dunavant and husband Ray of Millington, Tennessee; two sons, Larry Chrisman and wife Peggy of Hazel, Kentucky and Roger Chrisman and wife Lisa of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Ruth Netherland of South Fulton, Tennessee, and Sue Hinze and husband Gene of Hazel, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Adrienne Short, Megan Craig, Sam Chrisman, Chase Chrisman, Kelly Chrisman and Emily Chrisman; four great grandchildren, Katie Grace Short, Parker Chrisman, Evie Craig and Rylee Ann Chrisman. Funeral services was held Nov. 3 at Mason’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Alan Trull and Rev. April Arnold will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Alcidean Millington, 91, passed away Oct. 26, 2014 in Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Millington and sons, Lesley H. Millington and Samuel R. Millington. She is survived by her granddaughter, Andrea Millington; great-grandson, Sam J. Millington; nephews, William Harvey and Steve (Shirley) Harvey; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Service was held Oct. 31 at the Millington Chapel with interment at West Union Cemetery. The family asks memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
