A pleasant morning greeting the City of Millington Veterans Parade Saturday morning. Several residents made their way to Navy Road to salute local veterans and say thank you. Many Millington Municipal School students participated in the parade from E.A. Harrold, Millington Central High School, Millington Middle School and Millington Elementary School.

Two MES Eagles in the parade were Aerhan Dunning and Alex Rael. Their family members came out in support and wanted to commemorate the day with photos. Sasha Flowers gathered up all the children, Adrian, Ericka, Brittany, Jamye, Audrey, Emma, Alizae, Izibell, Leana and Selena, for a photo.

“My niece and nephew are in the parade with the MES Eagles,” she noted. “We wanted to come out in support them. And we wanted to show the girls it’s important to honor our veterans. They’ve been doing all the time out the school.”
