Cool weather did not keep the patriotic residents of Millington from attending the Veterans Day Parade and showing their support for our men and women in uniform.
Many spectators came prepared, with folding chairs and blankets so they could watch in comfort.
The parade started at 9 a.m. sharp.  More than 40 groups marched, rode, and drove in the parade.  The Millington Police Department and Millington Central High School started and ended the parade.
The first group, right after the police escort vehicle, was a color guard from Millington Central High School’s NJROTC program, with the battalion of cadets marching after them.
There were 45 total participants with more than 900 individuals showing up in the parade in Millington’s first Veterans Day parade in decades.
