Over the weekend, Morrieo Allen, 35, was brought into custody by the Shelby County Sheriff Office. On Saturday evening Allen was arrested on Claybrook Street in Memphis after being wanted for the first-degree murder of Cleate Davis.
Back on Dec. 18, Davis’ body was found in a burning pick-up truck just outside of Millington.
According to investigators, Davis had two gunshot wounds in his head and his body was badly burned in his F-150.
Previously, officers arrested Allen’s girlfriend, Aleasha Cox, 34. She is charged with first degree murder in perpetuation of a robbery. Both are scheduled to appear in court today.
