Anna Louise Igleheart

Anna Louise Igleheart, 82, of Southaven, Miss., was called home Jan. 1, 2015 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1932. She was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Ray Brown; her four sisters, Hattie Ree Ball, Clara lee Ayer, Meryl Hancock and Mary Etta Riggs; her son, Robert Douglas Igleheart; and a grandson, Kevin Brannan. She is survived by her three children, Jo Brannan of Batesville, Miss., Lynn Evans (Bobby) of Southaven, and Les Igleheart (Charissa) of Southaven; seven grandchildren, Michael Igleheart (Terri) of Hernando, Miss., Melissa Hooper (Trey) of Southaven, Keith Brannan (Sierra) of Horn Lake, Miss., Megan Horn (Stephen) of Collierville, Breanna Igleheart of Southaven, Lauren Gable (Tyler) of Gainesville, Ga., and Audrey Evans of Bartlett; and eight great-grandchildren, Christian Igleheart, Maddie Igleheart, Taylor Winter, Aly Igleheart, Destiny Brannan, Angel Brannan, Javi Brannan, and Mason Gable. She was love by all that met her. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Park Funeral Home. Betty Boswell Phillip, passed away on Dec. 24, 2014 at Methodist North Hospital after a long illness. She is the former Betty C. Boswell of Kerrville/Millington area. She attended Millington Central High School and then Graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She married Raymond Phillip of Poughkeepsie and taught at Rhinebeck Elementary school. Mr. Phillip joined the RCA Service Co. and the couple moved to Cape Canaveral, Fla., where he worked in the space program.  He rejoined IBM and they moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland until they retired to Memphis in 1987. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond J. Phillip; by her loving daughter, Sarah Hanson of Henderson; and by her loving son, Raymond Phillip of Olney, Maryland; and five grandchildren. The family received friends at a catered reception Dec. 29 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel 873-0123

Doris Rhea Smith, 84, of Millington, died Dec. 26, 2014. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and member of Crosspointe Baptist Church. Service was held Dec. 29 at Millington Chapel. Burial was in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was the widow of Virgil L. Smith. She leaves one daughter Carol Ann Brinley (Terry), one son, Garry Smith (Gail); one sister, Phyllis Ann Levens (Terry); several nieces and nephews; six grandchildren, Christy Minton, Cassie Gibbons, Catherine Brinley, Tyler Brinley, Erica Reed, Evan Smith and six great-grandchildren.
