For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned. Matthew 12:37
The Ten Commandments are words. They were penned by the finger of God. How important are they? Are these words in the Ten Commandments of God warnings? Are they meaningless? Out of date? Did Christ do away with them? These words are laws and laws are given by the ones in authority. Laws are to rule the masses.
We have diluted the Ten Commandments to a watery solution having a cloudy look with not much substance.
Whose to blame? How did the Commandments come to this?
We hail a judge in Alabama when he stands against the government for the Ten Commandments in his court.
We Christians decry the taking out the Ten Commandments from our schools.
Why do we Christians think our government has the responsibility to teach the Ten Commandments?
When do we hear sermons from the ones who claim to be called of God concerning the Ten Commandments. When have you seen the Ten Commandments in full written in stone at a church or just painted on the walls or just hanging in a picture frame. Our children see sex drugs advertised in prime time, our shows are murder and sex, see advertisements to help animals while protesting for the right to kill our babies and on it goes. There are no clear choices between right and wrong. Our children are confused. They see self lovers in their parents with drinking, dieting, trying to look good for envy and wanting all vain things as big houses and fine cars. It is said, “What the parents do in moderation the children do in excess.” Do we parents teach the Ten Commandments to our children?
You call yourself a follower of our Lord Christ, can you quote the Ten Commandments in order. Does that show you how close you are to God’s will?
Who am I? Can I judge you? No! No! I have broken everyone of the Ten Commandments. Yes , all ten. And after learning the Ten Commandments, I know my sins and repent of them. May God have mercy on me as I finish my days on earth. I live now knowing one day when my tour is done my sins will become non-existent.
Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my Commandments.” John 14:15 & John 15:10
Judgment is coming. Breaking laws bring judgments.
