Want some cash?
Want to help the community?  You can do both with Dagen’s Living Waters Book Store, located at 4952 Navy Road. Living Waters is sponsoring a “Gold Rush” to benefit the Millington Crisis Center and customers. All unwanted gold and silver bracelets, earrings, necklaces and more whether missing pieces or broken will be accepted. You can drop off your pieces for donation or you can get paid market rate for your jewelry. The choice is yours.  The Gold Rush started Sunday and will conclude at the end of the month. All monies from donated silver and gold will go directly to the Millington Crisis Center.  A small amount will be taken out of the people who bring in gold and silver for cash.
The Millington Crisis Center, located at 8133 Wilkinsville, is a non-profit organization helping those in the 38053 zip code.  The Center does not receive any government or state assistance to run the program. The Center helps about 50 families a month. It relies solely on monetary donations from the kindness of organizations and people both in and outside the Millington community.
The proceeds from the Gold Rush will go directly towards helping clients of the Millington Crisis Center. Donations accepted beginning March 1-30 and for more information, call 872-3773.
