Join the Millington Arts Council on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NSA Mid-South Conference Center (Pat Thompson Building) as they present a new cultural arts event, “Connecting the Community and the Arts.”
The day will be full of musical entertainment, student artwork, local artists and vendors, and a silent art auction.
On the schedule for musical entertainment are the Millington Central High School band and choir, Tipton-Rosemark Academy choir, Millington Elementary School chorus, EA Harrold Chorus, and the musical sounds of Just In Case.
Artwork and literary pieces from all of the Millington Municipal Schools will also be on display. Ribbons for the winners in each age category will be posted at 11 a.m. The MCHS National Art Honor Society will host a silent art auction with proceeds benefitting their scholarship fund. Bids for the silent auction close at 3 p.m.
Local vendors will be on site as well, including Julia’s Herbal Gifts, On the Rag Designs, and Scentsy Candles. Come spend the day celebrating the Community and the Arts!
