Amaba’s Appearance

Dr. A 1 Dr. A 2 Dr. A 4 Dr. A 5 Dr. A 6 Dr. A 7Millington Central High School Class of 1982 Dr. Ben Amaba was the special guest of honor last Tuesday at the Second Annual Millington Education Foundation Banquet sponsored by Ritter Communications. Amaba spoke to a full house in the Pat Thompson Building. Amaba enjoyed the evening with is parents and seeing old friends. Several Millington dignitaries greeted Amaba from Millington Mayor Terry Jones, to MEF Member Cary Vaughn, Millington School Board member Louise Kennon, Millington Municipal Schools Superintendent Dr. Davie Roper and local business owner Jack Leonard. Amaba has compiled a very successful career since graduating from MCHS with industrial and systems engineering in the industrial and public sectors. With more than 25 years of professional leadership experience working with government and Fortune 100 companies to solve complex business, operations, and technology challenges, Amaba has achieved a proven track record of success worldwide in operations, technology and innovation. Amaba holds a PhD. degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, a M.B.A./M.S. degree in Engineering, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Amaba is a Professional Engineer and holds positions as a Director on the International Association of Management of Technology (IAMOT), Founding member for Citizens for Clean Energy, Editorial Board of The Open Cybernetics and Systemics Journal, Executive Advisory Board Member to the University of Miami and University of Central Florida, Advisory Board Member to the Graduate Business School at Florida International University, and Executive Board Member of Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE).
