Flavor of Millington

Taste of Millington 1 Taste of Millington 2 Taste of Millington 3 Taste of Millington 4 Taste of Millington 5More than 600 people passed through the blue curtains greeted by Millington Rotary Club members at last month’s Taste of Millington at the N-82 Gymnasium. The ninth year of the event, Taste of Millington has become a tradition in Flag City.
“Our desire was to develop a signature event that would raise the awareness of Rotary, foster relationships in the community, and generate support,” Rotary member Cary Vaughn said. “Keeping it different from a typical golf tournament venue.”
Part of this year’s festivities were more than 30 vendors and Sue-N-The Lenders (above) singing throwback songs from the 1950s and 60s on the main stage. Patriot Bank was the title sponsor once again, making its streak nine in row. And Ritter Communications served as a core sponsor. Both companies distributed several “giveaways” throughout the evening.
