The faculty, staff and administration of TRA joined the Class of 2015 for the graduation ceremony. The 47 students received their diplomas after the program opened with a prayer by Senior Class Secretary Michaela Hoover. Other seniors to take to the microphone were Madison Cranford, Mary Kate Watson and Jordyn Thronell reflecting on the years on the campus and acknowledging the Christian base foundation at the school.
Then the Senior Ensemble performed “You’ll Be In My Heart.” Then it was time to award scholarships to a few of the seniors like Alicia Hornsby Memorial, Parent Teacher Organization, Alumni Association, Booster Club, TRA F.A.M.E., Josie Gray Memorial, two Commissioner Terry Roland and the first Mike Griffin Memorial scholarships.
TRA senior Logan Stewart gave a speech on Christian leadership as the president of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. After the senior video illustrating the maturity and growth of the seniors, it was time to walk across the stage to received their diplomas.
The students flipped their tassels and were led in a prayer by Student Council Chaplain Ethan Kaiser. The honor of announcing the graduation of the TRA seniors was bestowed upon Senior Class President Emily Langford.
