Vintage Hitchcock hits Playhouse 51 stage this weekend

playhouse 51 logoPlayhouse 51 in Millington presents Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m., June 12, 13, 19 and 20 and 2 p.m. on June 14 and 21 at the Harvell Civic Center located at 8077 Wilkinsville Road.

The show is sponsored by Ritter Communications, produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc., and directed by Jane Lester and Jim Cacy.

Vintage Hitchcock is set in a 1940’s live broadcast studio and includes dramatizations of three early Hitchcock films: The Lodger, Sabotage and The 39 Steps. This is Hitchcock before he came to America but already the master of his game. The triple feature is complete with vintage commercials, the magic and fun of live sound effects, and musical underscoring that create an evening of spine-tingling suspense, terror, romance and humor.
