Dance Night
January 19 7-10 p.m. @ Baker Auditorium
Come join us for a fun evening of dancing! Music on the 1st Tuesday is provided by The Jim Mahannah Band and on the 3rd Tuesday music is provided by Wally and Friends. Dance lessons are given free of charge from 6-7 and the main event starts at 7pm. Please bring a finger food to share and the cost is $5 at the door.
Senior Citizen’s Club
January 20 10 a.m. - noon @ Baker Auditorium
The Senior Citizens Club meets every Wednesday at the Baker Auditorium from 10-12 for lunch and entertainment. The annual dues are $5 per year.
Jan. 16-17
Auditions for The Addams Family — The Musical will be Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. and Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Ruffin Theater in Covington. There are 10 major characters in the play. Roles are available for four adult males, three adult females, a young girl ages 16-20, a young boy ages 16-20 and a young boy ages 9-13. Millington City Beautiful Gardening Series kicks off 2016 on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m. “Getting Ready to Garden” Tom Mashour, Tipton County Master Gardener will be the speaker at Baker Community Center 7942 Baker Street in Millington. It’s free to the public and for more information call 872-2609.

The NARFE (National Active & Retired Federal Employees) Association, Chapter 1382 meeting will be held Thursday, at Ryan’s, 8165 Highway 51 North in Millington.  Arrive by 11:30 a.m. to partake of the buffet and the meeting will commence at noon.  For more information, call Carolyn Cribbis at 413-7123.
UCF Church Giveaway
United Christian Fellowship Church is donating a small organ to the Millington/Tipton County/Memphis communities. The organ is in good condition and is free if the patron can move it themselves.
