Shining at both sport during his team at Millington Central High School, Middleton will continue his playing days at The University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky playing football.
Middleton will be heading to the college in Williamsburg to join the Patriots. The University of the Cumberlands play in the Mid-South Conference as part of NAIA.
The Patriots are led by Head Coach Matt Rhymer. The University of the Cumberlands graduate will enter his third season as the leader of the Patriots.
Middleton is his latest recruit. He made it official today signing his national letter of intent with his parents Shannon and Fredrick Donelson and grandparents Brenda and Mitchell Middleton present.
The quartet have watched and supported Kameron since his days of playing youth baseball at the age of 4 and youth football at age of 9.
These days, Middleton is the center fielder for the Trojans who are 2-1 in District 15-2A play after a 3-2 win over Covington Monday night at Miles Park.
During his gridiron days with the black and gold, Middleton helped the Trojans reach the playoffs each of his varsity seasons playing tight end, defensive line, linebacker and safety.
