An arrest was made in the double homicide of Rhonda and Brenda Dukes from June 6.
Michael Cullum was charged Monday afternoon with two counts of first degree murder and his next court appearance will be Aug. 8. His bond is set at $2 million.
Cullum is currently in jail, accused of killing the married couple back in June 6 just outside of Millington. Rhonda and Brenda Dukes lived across the street from Cullum in the 9400 block of Matthew’s Road.
Now the 46-year-old Cullum is a suspect in the double homicide.
On June 6 the discovery of a Kerrville couple Rhonda Renee and Brenda Bishop Dukes was made by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. The two women were found dead near Millington after authorities received a call about 3:30 p.m. that Monday. Inside the home, the bodies of the women were discovered deceased.
