*The American Legion and Auxiliary holds monthly meetings at the Baker Center starting at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month. On the first Saturday of the summer months the Auxiliary have been at the Farmers Market informing the community about our projects/programs that help our Veterans. *The Millington Lions Club meets at Olympic Steakhouse in Millington every second and fourth Tuesday at noon. The Lions Clubs works around the world for visually impaired and hearing impaired. The public is welcome to join the Club members and to make additional inquiries.

Dance Night at the Baker is a event for fun and exercise from ages 30 and up. Join Arts, Recreation and Parks for live music from 7-10 p.m. Free dance lessons from 6-7 p.m. There is an admission fee. Bring a snack to share and for more information, call 873-5770.
Come out for free dance lessons on the first and third Wednesday night of each month at 7:30-9 p.m. at the Baker Community Center. This is for ages 10 and older. Learn multiple styles of dance from West Coast Swing to Line Dancing! Parents are welcome to come and join in on the classes. Ages 15 and younger need to be accompanied by an adult. KICKS(Kids in Christ the King) will have a Family Night on Wednesday, August 24, from 6 to 7 p.m. This is a mini-KICKS program, with a meal and modified programs for the entire family to sample the KICKS experience, opportunities to sign-up to work in KICKS and early registration.
