The annual Millington Central High School All-Class Reunion was held at Navy Lake on June 22.
Bobby Carver, Class of ‘73, was in charge of the reunion this year. Carver was also the host and disc jockey for the occasion. He and classmate, Darrell Bright, entertained the group with non-stop dance music from decades past to some new tunes.
According to one of the coordinators Teresa Wells, Class of ’76, there were close to 180 Trojan alumni who joined the fun.
Jon Gordon came from Oklahoma and Susan Ray Mewborn made the trip from Georgia, along with many others from out-of-state Trojans to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.
There were classmates from the 1950’s, who included Larry Reed, Bobby Bartlett, Freda and Bobby Timbs to a future Trojan graduate Layna Tracey, Class of 2020. Layna joined her parents, Lisa and TJ, Class of ‘86.
The annual MCHS All-Class Reunion is held each June. If you didn’t make it this year, start contacting your classmates and make plans for next year. Check out Millington Central High School Alumni Facebook page for photos and information on next year’s event.
If you were there June 22 and took any pictures, post and share them with the group. The Reunion Committee would like to thank everyone who planned, volunteered, decorated, hung lights or helped clean up. Thanks to the Navy Lake staff for their help making this reunion a great success.
