The Millington Municipal School District publicly congratulated Lori Campbell, Danielle Martin and Amy Dickson, teachers from Millington Intermediate School, on receiving a fund for Teachers Fellow Grant worth more than $10,000. The teachers will travel to Yosemite National Park this summer to participate in workshops that teach the photography techniques of Ansel Adams to integrate photography into the Environmental Science and ELA curricula as a tool for promoting student awareness, interest and engagement.
“We are extremely proud of these teachers and cannot wait to see what knowledge they will bring to share with our students,” said MMSD Superintendent James “Bo” Griffin.
