A pair of  Tennessee Powerball players are now millionaires.

One of the winning tickets was sold in Millington. The buyer won $2 million, and a player in Brentwood won $1 million playing Mega Millions. The Powerball winner won by matching five of six numbers that were drawn, which is a $1 million prize. Since the player added the Power Play for an extra dollar, the prize was doubled. The Mega Millions winner also matched five of six numbers that were drawn.

The winning $2 million Powerball ticket was sold Aug. 18 at Tobacco Superstore, 4734 Navy Road in Millington. The winning $1 million Mega Millions ticket from Aug. 17’s drawing was sold at Publix, 10638 Concord Road, in Brentwood.

Neither of the winners have come forward to claim. The winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. The retailers who sold the tickets (Tobacco Superstore) will receive a $5,000 selling bonus. The Tennessee Education Lottery has raised more than $4.6 Billion for education in Tennessee.

The Millington winner was Donald Coffman. He matched 5 out of the 6 numbers for the lottery and then doubled the prize because of the Powerball Power Play.
