Girls’ Newcomer of the Year Bethany Berger

It seemed before the volleyball, basketball and softball season, all the talk around Tipton-Rosemark Academy’s campus was about the girl from Missouri. She is a solid volleyball player and will produce at the net. She will be our point guard and she can create her own shot. She is a good infielder and will bat toward the top of the lineup. Berger delivered and surpassed those expectations. She did it all as a sophomore. If she keeps up at this rate she may go down as the best female athlete in Rosemark history.

Boys’ Newcomer of the Year Caine Robinson

The Munford freshman will be ranked high among TSSAA athletes in track entering his senior season in 2014. Robinson made his mark this year for the Cougars reaching State in the Triple and High jumps. Robinson has speed to help Munford relay teams and can post a State winning number in the long jump. Robinson’s junior year was his coming out party. With coaching and his discipline, Robinson will shine even more next year.
