The Millington Arts Council, along with the Millington Arts & Recreation Department, will begin offering art lessons for the local residents ages 15 and older. In October, topics will cover: Oct. 3 – Drawing Cartoon and Caricature sketching with Thomas Sellers; Oct. 10 – Acrylic Painting on Canvas with Lori Campbell; Oct. 17 – Camera Q&A with Bing Osterman; Oct. 24 – Watercolor Landscapes with Valerie Shavers, and ends on Oct. 31 with a free Art Party event for kids up to 14 years of age. These courses will be taught at the Baker Community Center from 6-8:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. Class fees will be $25 and includes all supplies. Reservations may be made with a non-refundable $15 deposit.
