Brighton quarterback Malik Jackson and crew are ready to make a playoff run starting this Friday welcoming Henry County to town.

Millington (2-8) @ Haywood County (9-1)
Haywood won its league title dominating the competition scoring more than 30 points 7 times. The Tomcats only defeat came courtesy of Oakland 52-6. Haywood has won three games in a row coming into the Class 4A State playoffs.

Brighton (7-3) vs. Henry County (5-4)
The Cardinals are the No. 2 seed out of their league entering the Class 5A State Playoffs. Traditional power Henry County will be Brighton’s reward this Friday. The Patriots come to town losers of their last two games, Brentwood and Centennial respectively. Prior to those two contest Henry County won four in a row averaging more than 44 points a game.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy (5-5) @ Lausanne (10-0)
The TRA Rebels are traveling to Memphis to take on the unbeaten Lausanne Lynx. The Lausanne ran through its schedule averaging 45.8 points a game, while only allowing 10.8.  The Lynx put the Shelby-Metro area on notice early in the season beating St. George’s 41-12 in September. The Rebels have had a seesaw season alternating wins and defeats. TRA dropped a heartbreaking game Friday night against Rossville 50-49 after beating West Memphis Christian 56-49.
