Football Offensive Star of the Season
Auvic White
The Munford junior running back was named Region 8-5A MVP for 2020. He rushed for 1,063 yards and 9 touchdowns on 187 carries. White was a huge part of guiding the Cougars to the Region title and a playoff spot, winning a first round game.

Devin Knight
The Millington senior moved up the all-time Trojan defensive charts with a stellar campaign. He was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year. He shared that honor with Fayette-Ware’s Tyler Walton in Region 8-4A.
Volleyball Star of the Season
Jordan Moore
The Munford Lady Cougar has been one of the best players in District 13-3A in recent years. Her final season with the Lady Cougars added to her all-time totals. She racked up 251 kills along with 172 digs in earning an All-District spot. She is taking her skills and talents to Walters State.
Boys’ Basketball

Alex Anderson
The all-time leading scorer in Rosemark Basketball history added to his legend with another trip to State helping the Rebels finish in the final four. Anderson was also the West Region MVP helping TRA win that title. Anderson led the Rebels in scoring and was the all-around leader for the team on and off the court.
Wrestling Star of the Season
Malik Wooten
The Millington Trojan senior, fresh off a sixth place medal in 2020, came to this year’s State Wrestling Individual Tournament in Chattanooga ready to improve his finish. Wooten earned a pair of victories to start the 2021 edition in Class A-AA 113 Division. Wooten defeated Jacob Pennington of Eagleville 12-9 and earned a pinfall win over Cory Manuel of Greenback in 3:15. Wooten would finished the State Tournament 3-2 overall earning the fourth place medal in his weight class.

Brianna Hall
The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Lady Rebel senior added to her all-time marks on the pitch through goals and assists. Hall leading TRA in goals in 2020 netted her overall total at 126, for the most in a career for any Rebel Soccer player ever.

Maiya Reed
Reed will join her Munford classmate Jordan Moore at Walters State in the fall. But Maiya Reed will spend time on the basketball court earning a scholarship. One of the most desired players in the area for soccer and basketball, Reed made her decision to continue her basketball career after leading the Lady Cougars in points, rebounds and assists.
