On Sunday, Millington Mayor Larry Dagen and City Manager Frankie Dakin presented the 2026 Ed Haley Heart of Service Award to Dr. Laura B. Christopher for 21 years as the SYS track and field coach in Millington,. She has coached more than 2,000 youth during her career and also services the community through her church The Word Church located at 8641 Bishop Roger Christopher Drive.
