For the 21st year, The Millington Star is awarding Athlete of the Year to the best female and male multi-sports student/athlete in the coverage area among Millington Central High School, Brighton High School, Munford High School and Tipton-Rosemark Academy. To qualify as a candidate, selected by the staff of The Star, a student/athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior competing in two or more TSSAA sports. Below are the seven candidates in the two categories and the public will have a chance to vote on the each social media platform of The Millington Star throughout June.
