During last month’s Region 8-3A Basketball Tournaments held on the campus of Millington Central Middle High School in the William Osteen Gymnasium, Millington Trojan guard Brandon Payne was presented a 1,000-point milestone basketball by Trojan Head Coach Jewell Gates. Payne achieved the benchmark during the postseason run before his Millington Basketball career concluded against Melrose in Regionals.
