Renegade Dance competed in Applause Talent National Dance Competition July 12-16. The Dance academy had 14 group dances that placed in the top 10.
Renegade won highest score for three groups (Seventh grade, Brotherhood of Man, and Eye of the Tiger) and won Top Studio for the highest average score in the First Call level.
“We had five of the group dances invited to compete Saturday the 16th in the Best of the Best,” said Yvonne Taylor. “Out of those five, three won Best of the Best. Most of our solo dances placed in the top 10 and earned several judges awards. One of our solos earned top score of the day and was invited to Best of the Best. We earned several awards including Clever Concept Award and Most Entertaining Award for Oz, Best Studio Banner, Studio Spirit Award, Highest Score of the day for groups two times.”
